First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit to Expire in 79 Days!

If you haven’t already heard that the first time home buyer tax credit of $8,000 will expire on November 30, 2009 or 79 days. You still have time to buy a home, but, you will need to be in contract in the next 30 days to close on a home before November 30th. Why do you need to be in contract in the next 30 days or October 15th? The Banks need 45 days to close on a home mortgage. If you need  additional incentives to buying a home, 30 year mortgage rates are down this week to 5.00 %, homes are more affordable and there are lots to choose from.  So why not start looking for your dream home, today!
